In the future everyone will appear on reality TV (discuss). I got my
humiliation in early, in 2006 on Channel 4's The Play's the Thing. Reykjavik,
my comedy about air travel and terrorism beat a couple of thousand scripts —
and then lost to one. Argh.
It was a profoundly unreal business but I did get to work with some talented people
including Robert Delamere, Tom Hardy, Lorcan Cranitch, Neil Pearson, Riz Ahmed and Rafe Spall.
When not being a TV victim, I write TV dramas and (sometimes) gags on
TV shows.
